Prior to her founding Starfire Retail in 2001, Margaret served as Director of Leasing for Williams Jackson Ewing for 17 years, where she spearheaded novel food hall concepts and established landmark urban projects.
Margaret's vision for merchandising and innate sense for food concepts — from fine dining to fresh marketplaces — enables her to create retail environments that are inviting and profitable. Her strong financial and legal background, creativity and aesthetic eye grant her the ability to re-instate value in antiquated projects and re-plan, re-merchandise, and lease spaces to regenerate a successful and lucrative center.

Margaret's has consulted on dozens of projects and negotiated hundreds of leases. Recent noteworthy projects include representation of ownership leasing 300,000 square feet of upscale lifestyle, fashion, and restaurant retail in Baltimore's Harbor East as well as successfully re-positioning Baltimore's Quarry Lake as a retail and fine dining destination.
